Team Adventurers Workshop takes first overall in the bike class and
first place in bikes under 800CC AND over 800cc!!

Congratulations to Chris Wyckoff riding his KTM 950ADV S and winning first place OVERALL within the bike class AND first place in the Over 800cc bike class. Yea Baby!!!

Congratulations to Gregor Halenda's first RallyMoto event and for taking first place in the Under 800cc class and second OVERALL  on his KTM 540SX. Yee Ha!!

Congrats to me for finishing and having the most fun of all. I must say that I really held back to make sure that the other riders didn't have to worry about trying to keep up with me ;) BAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. If you check my times you'll see what I mean...

What a great time had by all! Bike participation was nominal in comparison to the Sand Blast Rally but 11 of us braved the scorching sun and humid conditions to finish 12 stages of some of the best road riding around. The towns people of Linden, Tennessee were extremely friendly and gracious to have us there. We enjoyed every minute and cannot wait to get back there next year.

The race itself was a very intense battle of the three top riders. Chris Wyckoff and Gregor Halenda of Team Adventurers Workshop battled against each other and also against Doug Morrison of Team MAX BMW on his HP2. These three stayed within seconds of each other in some stages and in other stages there was a clear "fast guy". At the end Chris finished 2 seconds in front of Gregor and although Chris did have one penalty assessed for a late check in, he was able to battle on to take the Bike First Overall and First Place in the Over 800cc bike class.

Gregor rode hard all day taking a few of the first stages to get his "legs" on his nicely prepped KTM 540. After that he was balls to the wall aiming for the top spot. Gregor finished in First Place in the under 800cc bikes. It was a very impressive run and a great first showing for him.
